Starting Pat Sloan Splendid 2. I purchased the first Splendid and am watching Alyssa Thomas from Penguin & Fish do the past Splendid Sampler and starting the one. She is so interesting.

I have just worked on tons of projects this year but haven't posted them like I should have. I have a new sit down quilt machine and am trying to learn how to quilt my own quilts.

I had a great day playing with fabric. The Paper Doll quilt  by Shiny Happy World designs is so fun and is just like playing paper dolls only with fabric. Choosing the fabric for the different parts of the doll is so fun. I have a lot to do and need to stitch around the edge with black thread for the last two.  The stitching is a straight-stitch about as close to the edge I can get without going over the edge.  The background is quilted on batting before the doll is fused down.
